Flickering lights, warm switches or power points, fuses that blow, or wiring that's 40 or more years old are all reasons to get it checked. Many older Illawarra homes still have original wiring in the roof.

How do I know if my house needs rewiring?

We can inspect the wiring and switchboard and tell you honestly whether it needs a full rewire, a partial one, or nothing at all.

Can we stay in the house during a rewire?

Usually yes. We work room by room and keep power on to the rest of the house where we can.

Can you add power points at the same time?

Yes. It's the cheapest time to add extra power points, data points or lighting circuits.
